The Classic Double Room was pretty cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, which was a plus for a good night’s sleep. We noticed the room had nice en suite facilities and a hairdryer, which is sometimes hard to find. There were some signs of wear, but overall it was decent for our stay. The hotel’s atmosphere felt a bit old-fashioned but charming in a way. Not much to complain about really.

Had a lovely stay! The location was just perfect for exploring the town. The big bathroom in my room was a highlight for sure. Only downside? Breakfast could use a bit more variety.

The Cairn offers a grand Victorian-style setting with ample parking. My superior single room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a comfortable bed, a full-sized kettle, and a variety of tea and coffee options. The breakfast selection was plentiful, especially enjoyed the omelettes which were beautifully cooked. Staff were efficient and assisted well with my business needs.
Water temperature in the room could have been better.

Request a room on a higher floor for a quieter experience, as low floor rooms can be disturbed by creaking floorboards.

Had a great time with friends! The dance floor was fantastic, and we loved the local attractions. The staff were friendly, and parking was a breeze. Rooms were spacious, perfect for our group.
We had an annoying experience with the fire alarm going off twice during our stay, which was quite bothersome. It caused some worry among the group.

Great location and friendly service
The hotel is in a fantastic spot for exploring the heart of Harrogate, making it easy to access shops and cafes. The staff were welcoming and helpful during my stay, and my room was spacious with a comfortable bed. the decor feels a bit outdated and in need of a refresh to bring it up to modern standards.

Great staff, but needs serious updates
The staff here are really amazing, super friendly and helpful. My experience got off to a rough start with a dirty room, but they quickly got me a clean one on the 3rd floor. Still, the whole place feels pretty outdated. Breakfast was decent but it's a shame the decor is so shabby. Just needs a makeover, honestly.

Not bad for solo travelers
So I walked in and the staff were genuinely friendly which was a nice surprise, felt welcomed right away. The breakfast spread was pretty impressive too, fresh food, plenty of options, felt like it was prepared with care.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but honestly it was still fine for what I paid.
